Die Sechziger:1933-1963 Lieder des Europäischen Widerstandes Gegen den Faschismus
Unknown Label

Nice comp. that's apparently on a German label that collects lots of anti-fascist and Partisan songs from WWII and beyond.
Wish that it included more Yugoslavian Partisan songs. It's interesting to note that most songs come from not just occupied countries, but Germany itself. Fascinating.

I've had this for a while and don't remember from whence they came, but did a little research and corrected the filenames and ID tags, which were a nightmare.

Download Die Sechziger

Cross your fingers kids, my upload speed appears to be back, but I'm still experiencing blogger-burnout, so there's no telling how often I'll post stuff.

Enjoy, Comrades!

Hello. I'm going to be awkward and not comment on this album. But wait! The zip file for the Tetsuo OST isn't working. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to, well, fix it? I know this is a very vain thing to ask, seeing as you provide music for so many peole, but I thought there'd be no harm in asking.
Keep up the good work!

Thank you a hell of a lot, you nice nice man.
After all that searching though, there's a lot in the film that isn't on the OST. A tad dissapointing, but beggars can't be choosers as they say.
I'd like to point out I'm not usually a pirate, but the sheer rarity of the OST made me forget my ethics briefly.
Thanks again!

Yeah, I agree. As I pointed out in the review, it's not quite the same as what appears in the movies. Some are and some aren't. I guess the best way to forgo the disappointment is to treat it as a standalone music album from Ishikawa -an amazing musician in his own right.
I am awaiting getting my mitts on the deluxe DVD of Tetsuo so I can rip the audio from it. I have been listening to the rip of my first ish VHS tape and am frustrated by the fact that it's in Mono. I think that's the movie soundtracks original state.

We don't think of ourselves as pirates per se. Pirates are in it for self profit. Think of us as enlightened Comrades rendering commodities useless and redistributing capital assets to the masses.

Me again. I have recorded some of Tetsuo that doesn't appear on the OST already from the DVD. I could send you them if you're interested. (One good deed deserves another!) You can see how different Megatron sounds on the film.

hi there..it's always good to hear partisan songs.especially from different countries.
in yugoslavia there are many great partisan songs mostly made by partisans themselves.songs about struggle, love, freedom, antifascism.but there were also bunch of shit songs promoted by regime in order to make people blind and follow Party rules and orders.

WOW! Ok, now listen: I saw this when you first posted it and sort of thought that it was some half-lame (apologies!) modern anti-fascist rock pop punk collection....Could I have been more wrong??!!

This is right up my alley as I am a historian and collect this sort of shit (apart from punk & HC that is).

So, yes, sometimes it is good to actually read the posts and not just quickly run for the download link or otherwise just pass on things which at first looks too random or whatever...

Too much information arrghhh!!

Ha ha ha, well just wanted to say CHEERS MATE!

Lol.

ps. yes sad Dead Moon is no longer - can only repeat that I am sooo glad I managed to see them before they packed in. And btw, was supposed to hang out with them after the show but I was so drunk and wanted to go off somewhere else.My friend managed to hang out with them and give Fred this homemade vest he'd made!!! ds
