Praxis
Metatron
Subharmonic
Buckethead: Guitar
Laswell: Bass
Brain: Drums
What more do you need to know?
This one is more stripped down and mind-pummeling than previous Praxis releases. Without Bootsy and Bernie Worrell, it's lacking in funkiness, but more than makes up for it in raw aggression.

Hey, yeah someone's reading ;-) I have most of these recent posts (eventually Laswell exhausted me but not before I had a big chunk of his catalog) but given your tastes look forward to seeing what might show up. The Don Joyce is great and I tracked down Philip K Nixon's album and am listening now (the greylodge link wasn't working), I actually am finding some great links in your archives to all sorts of arcana so will be checking back often. Keep it surreal!
Yes indeed, Laswell's discography is vast, and as someone said in Trouser's Press, you needn't necessarily get everything by him. I want to post lots of his O/P stuff, but also want to be sure that I post stuff that others haven't yet, or that I don't see much of it lately. I think I might post a few Material albums soon.
Thanks for the nice comments and for stopping by Loopy!
Your archives kept me up all night! Down the rabbit hole indeed!!!
I am still exploring the sites related to 'creative collectives' as I am a composer/mixer also. Some very intriguing material and possibility. Thanks again for being both a source and portal to 'Wonderland' ;-)
